About Us

New England MedWaste was formed under BioMed Innovations in May 2017 to provide local and regional regulated medical waste generators a long-overdue alternative option for handling, transporting, and processing regulated medical waste through a single source, minimizing risk and reducing cost. Our state-of-the-art regulated medical waste processing facility is strategically located and, at full capacity, capable of handling up to 100 tons of RMW and sharps waste per day, and we are committed to protecting the environment through our clean treatment process and waste-to-energy initiatives

THE CONCEPT IS BORN

We identify the critical need for an honest and reliable medical waste service and processing company in New England.
2018

THE JOURNEY BEGINS

The permitting process required tremendous effort and resources and included multiple, local, state, and Federal Agencies.
2019

PLANTING THE SEED

The NEM Team visited hundreds of healthcare organizations throughout New England to share our vision and philosophy which became known as “Planting The Seeds”.
2020

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

In February 2020, we received our site assignment permit to construct the first and only Regulated Medical and Sharps Waste processing facility in Massachusetts.
2021

YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW

In Spring 2021, we begin processing medical and sharps waste. At full capacity, our 38k sq. ft. facility will process up to 100 tons of waste per day.
